Kingston GP Extended Hours Service

This service operates 7 days a week from 08:00 until 20:00 and patients of the Practice can book an appointment at a convenient time with the GP Service provider through our Practice receptionist.

When We Are Closed

Monday to Friday 13:00 - 14:30 - if you need assistance for emergencies only please ring 07803 143061. We always have a GP on call and a member of staff is always available to take your call.

Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday – Friday, weekends and bank holidays, please dial 111 for assistance and direction to the best service.  If your call is not of an urgent nature please call back during normal opening hours.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Walk-in Centre/Urgent Care Centre

Walk-in centres and urgent care centres provide health services without you needing to make an appointment. They can also help you avoid a trip to A&E.

For some health conditions, like cuts, strains and sprains, a walk-in centre or urgent care centre is your best option.
